It works, it's just so difficult it makes fighting anything out of the question, which wasn't the case before (last time the spider died quickly, now they take many hits). Things out-dps you so I have no choice but to run away instead of loot chests. Sometimes it puts you back at the first floor and duplicates the level when using stairs.
I really like the way the game looks and feels, and the sfx/music is quite nice, loops very well though music stops playing after a while. Unfortunately as another stated the stairs are broken, really want to know what's down there :D
A game like this is something I would play for hours.
Idea for the game seems good, art is also very good and i would definitely spend more time on playing it even with a bit annoying chests, if it wasn't for an issue i'm experiencing with stairs. Have been trying to go up and down, stairs going up bring me to main menu, as probably intended, but stairs going down seem to not be working, no matter where i click or what direction i walk to them from.
UI has a pretty nice style, working well with art aesthetics that give it all a 90's feel. Settings menu is a bit difficult to read, because of a low contrast between the letters' colour and the background.

I have corrected the bug and you can now enter the second floor and beyond...

Strange bug...
What system are you playing on?
I only tested on my windows PC, just tried on my phone via webpage, which I didn't think it could play and is acting very strange
Windows PC, yeah it's really weird!
What browser are you using? My kids found the same bug on MS Edge but chrome worked fine for them

I just submitted a ticket to fixthe bug and hopefully will have it fixed tonight, at work right now...

Having the same issue. I would get a ticket to get this fixed because it feels like it blocks off the entire game

Same! which is a shame because this is totally my kind of game, I'll come back to this tomorrow incase a fix gets pushed.
